“It was sort of an actor’s dream of playing with each other in the moment, and in the first episode where we’re introduced and we come in, we just has this moment,( demonstrates with James Marsters) we were lingering ( James, “almost kissing.”) Yeah, and we turned out. “They had quite an arc planned for the character and really did want these two characters, Spike and Drusilla, to be the sort of villains for that season.”

“I like to say she’s touched. She is evil, she is diabolical, she has become strong because she starts out weak in terms of physically weak, but strong in terms of her desires. You know there was sort of this drug analogy running throughout, and the nature of the relationship with Spike that balances out sort of all the villainy things that we do.”

“Here you have this thing, you know covering a lot of your face, and it could be really horrific, but it was sort of able to achieve this pretty, and scary, and eerie, and creepy look, still compelling where you’re not off put by it, he wanted it to still look slightly sexy, and you know, I think he (Todd McIntosh) was able to capture that.”
